Golf is the closest game to life you will ever play. You can’t always find yourself in a good spot on the fairway or the green, and sometimes you end up in the rough—which isn’t always a bad thing. Hazards are lurking everywhere to challenge your will to fight back. Yet, somehow, we always find a way to finish the hole and create memorable stories that last a lifetime.
This site is dedicated to my best friend and caddy, “JR,” who left us too soon. JR always had the best stories, the greatest attitude, and was the most fun to be around. Some of my fondest memories are those spent with him. I miss my friend every day, but I still smile when I think about all the wonderful times we shared. In loving memory of John Barre Ryan, 1971–2013.
The colors of the logo are thoughtfully chosen, each reflecting an aspect of both golf and life itself. The deep green represents the rough, where we often find ourselves navigating challenges. The tan symbolizes the sand— sometimes a setback, sometimes a stroke of luck. Blue stands for the water, places we hope to avoid, while the light green evokes the fairway and the green, the places we always aspire to be. Finally, the yellow flagstick and flag, JR’s favorite color, shine as a beacon of hope and joy. Just as in life, each color signifies a different journey, a unique emotion, and together they remind us that every part of the course—and every experience—has meaning.
